if all good things
are wild and free,
what does that say
of you and me?
too old to be wild,
too young to be free,
held here by these
responsibilities.
but maybe one day,
we'll wake up to find
being wild and free
is not about time
or how much has passed,
or how old you are,
because wild and free
both live in the heart.
